I WANT TO GIVE SOMETHING BACK TO OTHERS IN NEED!

“My refugee story is my strength”

In 1989, AKOI MASSAYAN BAZZIE’s life changed forever when his home country Liberia was engulfed in a bloody civil war. Fifteen years later, Akoi’s life changed again when he became one of the first people to be resettled in Britain through the UN/UK refugees’ resettlement Scheme called ‘Gateway Protection Programme (GPP)’. We’re so proud that Akoi now works for the UN/UK resettlement programmes   helping host communities and international partners to understand Forced Migration and Refugee Protection as well as supporting newly arrived refugees rebuild their lives in safety.

Here, Akoi shares his incredible story with us. https://ambg2hf.org.uk/
